Loss Prevention

Los Prevention is a capital tool to reduce losses and improve loss ratio. It should be stated that almost 80 % of the losses could be prevented with a proper understanding of the transport chains and hazards.

• Inspection of warehouses and terminals
• Packaging control
• Inspection of transport means and methods
• Preshipment conditions of the goods
• On / off hire surveys
• Conditions surveys
• Loading, stowage and securing of all cargoes
• Supervision of loading, securing and discharge of heavy lifts / project cargo 
• Transportation security

Upon receipt of assignment we will acknowledge receipt to our principal. Once completed the inspection, a preliminary report will be sent within the next 24 / 48 hours.
However, customers will be kept regularly informed about the file.

Our reports reflect factual sound information regarding the extent and cause of the loss, as well as relevant information to safeguard Insurer’s recovery possibilities.
The reports can be issued in English, French or Spanish at the customer’s request.
